A colourful display of hand made quilts by Award winning quiltmaker

DOREEN HALLETT.

Doreen has exhibited nationally and internationally, and has been featured in Newsletters, Magazines, Calendar, Show Catalogues and Books.

As a traditional quilter she works in many styles and techniques, and is a Life member of the Quilters' Guild of the British Isles, a Life Member of the Embroiderers' Guild and a Member of the Beadworkers'Guild.

Saturday April 7th,

you can see Doreen at work in the Upper Gallery between 11am and 3pm as she demonstrates some of her expertise.

We are having our annual "CLEARING THE DECKS" sale in the Upper Gallery at the moment, this will continue until sometime in February when the Exhibition programme for 2012 begins with another fabulous display of work from budding young school artists..

Quirky, charming and unique, an eclectic collection of sculpture, jewellery, framed work, glass and wallhangings created from recyclable materials.

" THE DRAWING ROOM "

is now on display in the Upper Gallery until October 1st 2011

This exhibition celebrates drawing in a variety of unusual forms, including dramatic charcoal works by Angelo Murphy, delicate pen imagery by Rebecca Sands and textile wallhangings created by Kerry Mosley.
